Modifying the Contents of Panels

Page of 168

The Ext.panel.Panel class supports the following methods that enable you to change its contents:

  • setTitle (string)
    Changes the title of the Panel
  • setData (mixed)
    Passes data into a component which is subsequently turned into markup by applying a template (covered later in this course)
  • setHtml (string)
    Outputs the specified markup to the body of the panel. Note that you may want to set the panel's styleHtmlContent config property to true before executing this method.
  • close()
    Closes the panel and, by default, removes it from the DOM and destroys all of its nested components.
