The following methods are available for any class that inherits from Ext.Component:

  • show()
    Displays the component on screen.
  • hide()
    Hides the component (similar to applying a style of display:none to a DOM element)
  • enable()
    Enables the component
  • disable()
    Disables the component and applies the CSS class specified by the component instance's disabledCls configuration property.
