Configuring a Model's Proxy Reader for Data Pagination

Configure the following proxy reader attributes when working with large datasets:

Config Attribute Description
root String. The name of the property in the dataset that contains the information that you need to have translated into model instances.
successProperty String. The name of the property in the dataset that indicates whether the data request succeeded or failed.
totalProperty String. The name of the property in the dataset that indicates the total number of records that are available, given the current filter condition.

The following example illustrates how the root, successProperty, and totalProperty configuration attributes map to a typical dataset read from an application server:
