Reading Complex Data from an Application Server

Page of 168
In most scenarios, desktop applications are responsible for handling more data than mobile apps. Most developers seek to constrain the number of data requests on mobile devices due to bandwidth, pricing, and memory concerns. However, since those bandwidth restrictions do not exist at the desktop level you therefore have more flexibility in working with larger and more complex datasets. However, memory management can still be problematical and you will likely want to "paginate" your data in order to keep your overall memory utilization relatively low.
