This three-day course takes you through the best practices for customizing a website developed using the CommonSpot Content Management Server from Paperthin, Inc. This course was developed by Fig Leaf Software based on our experience from developing and deploying over 500 sites using the CommonSpot Content Server. The sample chapter describes how to implement a CSS-based design as a CommonSpot template.

This two-day hands-on exercise-based course teaches the basics of adding, editing, deleting, formatting content, and participating in workflows within a CommonSpot Content Server managed web site. It is a prerequisite for the CommonSpot for Developers course. The sample chapter describes how to deploy the simple form and datasheet controls. We often customize this material to suit a customer's specific web site implementation requirements. AJAX

Fast Track to AJAX is designed to give you a foundation for creating dynamic, data-driven web applications that utilize advanced graphical user interfaces which require few, if any, page reloads. This course is two days in length. While the course uses ColdFusion as the application server for fetching database content, the techniques taught in 75% of the class could be used with almost any web development language such as ASP, PHP, and JSP. Note that a one-day curriculum is also available. The sample chapter teaches you how to leverage ColdFusion, Spry, and Google Maps.

During the hands-on session, you will master ActionScript 3 coding concepts by developing the arcade classic, Asteroids.
